|
| The Foundation honored Nathaniel P. Reed for his lifelong passion for and dedication to saving the Everglades. The guests enjoyed Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville beer and tequila for poolside cocktails, a delicious dinner in the ballroom at Mar-A-Lago and an exciting live auction featuring packages ranging from an African Safari adventure to private tennis lessons with Chris Evert and Nick Bollettieri. To top it all off, the night ended with an incredible concert by a very special guest – Diana Ross! |
The evening benefited the Everglades Foundation – an organization dedicated to advancing understanding of the Everglades ecosystem and its irreplaceable environmental and economic value. The Foundation pursues a solution oriented approaches to preserving and protecting the splendor of America's Everglades, providing the solid science and expert testimony needed to push restoration forward. Working alongside their partners to provide funds for advocacy, lobbying and legal action, the Foundation has become an incubator for action and an avenue for partner organizations to discuss, strategize and become a unified voice for the Everglades. |
